Matthew Levinstein
Matthew Levinstein is a Chicago intellectual property (IP) shareholder with the global law firm, Greenberg Traurig LLP. Matthew litigates patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret matters in federal district courts throughout the country. He also represents clients in contentious proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Matthew regularly advises clients on the selection and availability of trademarks, prosecutes trademark applications, and oversees foreign trademark clearance and prosecution activities. In addition, his transactional IP experience includes drafting a variety of licenses and other IP-related agreements, and counseling clients on the IP aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and finance transactions.
Matthew holds a B.S. from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an M.A. from University of Chicago, and a J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
He is excited to continue to help those in need through Jewish Free Loan Chicago. Matthew, his wife, and their three children live in Deerfield, IL.
